A community fund for those that need it the most
It’s harder running a small charity than you might think. There are the funding applications, the ever-increasing administrative loads, and of course community awareness.
For South Canterbury Multiple Sclerosis, creating an endowment fund through Aoraki Foundation was a way to kill three birds with one stone. After selling a property, South Canterbury Multiple Sclerosis didn’t want to just watch the money trickle away. They wanted to grow their finances to provide ongoing support, and also grow awareness of MS. So they came to us at the Aoraki Foundation — and the MS Endowment Fund was born.
How do I help grow this fund?
If you know someone with Multiple Sclerosis you will know the struggle they face. This fund supports the operational costs of South Canterbury MS so they can continue to deliver much needed local services. All donations are eligible for a 33% tax credit.

Can I get a grant?
The MS Fund does not do individual grants to the public. This is a community fund that provides all the income directly to South Canterbury Multiple Sclerosis. If you have MS and require assistance please contact the amazing team at South Canterbury MS directly.
